Our approach to trust, security and privacy is built around our clear and up-to-date privacy policy that discloses how we collect, store and manage your data in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. People

We recruit based on alignment with our values. That means our people share our ethos, and our commitment to our clients and the broader community. Nonetheless, all employees:

  • are required to adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct 
  • are required to sign our confidentiality agreement;
  • pass and maintain a clear national police check; and
  • are regularly trained and tested in privacy and confidentiality principles and best-practice;
  • hold a working with vulnerable people clearance (if required); and
  • are granted data access rights are based on their job function and role.

Emergency Response Plan

In the event of an emergency or disaster, Aurora may be required to close or make changes to ensure the safe provision of our services. In this event, we will contact you and/or members of your nominated support network as per our Emergency Response Plan. Incident Reporting

If an incident or near miss occurs it must be reported to Aurora the management team. As an accredited NDIS provider, Aurora must report all major incidents to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission within 24 hours. Physical Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.


Our office is secured via CCTV, alarm and lock and key. All visitors are required to sign in and out at our front desk.



We only use a limited number of hand-selected and evaluated technology partners who comply with Australian standard or equivalent privacy and security best-practice including ensuring clinical and quality data is stored in Australian Data Centres, is encrypted and backed up appropriately.
